Solved on local properties.

Every project here started with a site problem — poor drainage, an unusable slope, failing stone. Each entry shows the condition, the solution chosen, and how the work holds today.

Problem-first design

Three projects, three site conditions

Basement access, residential backyard

The house had a buried basement with zero backyard access. We dug down to the footings, cut the foundation, and put in a new door. Then we engineered the retaining walls, handled the drainage, and laid a clean patio with stone steps leading up to the main yard. We didn't just add a door—we opened up the whole property and built a safe, multi-level layout that connects the house from top to bottom.

Concrete paver walkway

The old brick walkway from the driveway to the front door was uneven, shifting, and a constant tripping hazard. We tore out the failing brick, excavated down to prep a heavy aggregate base, and laid a dead-level concrete paver walkway. It completely changes the front of the house—giving them a clean, rock-solid path to the front door that won't shift or puddle.

Thermal flagstone entryway

The original concrete stoop had cracked through and heaved at the riser. We pulled it, re-graded the approach, poured a fresh concrete base and laid thermal PA bluestone.
